RONNIE JAMES DIO: First-Ever Single Auctioned On EBAY

Ronnie James Dio's first seven-inch single, "Lover / Conquest", was recently auctioned on eBay. The 1958 single, only 500 copies of which are believed to have been manufactured, was reportedly sold for over $200.

As previously reported, Ronnie James Dio's first LP — a 1963 release by RONNIE DIO AND THE PROPHETS entitled "Dio At Domino's" — was recently sold for over $360 to a U.S.-based collector in an eBay auction. The songs that featured on the LP included "I Left My Heart In San Francisco", and a song from the RONNIE AND THE RED CAPS days called "An Angel Is Missing". The album also contained a version of "Great Balls Of Fire" along with other famous rock 'n' roll songs. The final track was "Love Pains", the B-side to the PROPHETS' first single.
